Theatre is a term that means two things:

• a type of performing art, in which a play is performed for an audience
• the building where the theatre play is performed

There are different types of theatre shows and buildings used to show them. There is much more to theatre that one may think and this is why so many people are not informed properly on the subject. When talking about it there are many features and people that need to be addressed like: actors, directors, the difference between formal theatre and street theatre and so on.
