Anti-globalization

Anti-globalization is a term most commonly described to the political standing of people and groups who oppose certain aspects of globalization in its current form. This includes the domination of current global trade agreements, and trade-governing bodies such as the World Trade Organization by various powerful and influential corporations.

Social movement
“Anti-globalization” is considered by many to be a social movement, while others consider it to be an umbrella term that encompasses a number of separate social movements taking place at the same time. In either case, participants are united in opposition to the political power of large corporations and conglomerates.
Which are exercised in trade agreements and elsewhere? they say undermines the environment, safety issues, labor rights, national sovereignty, the third world, and other serious concerns.
Defining the term
Most people who are labeled "anti-globalization" often reject the term, preferring instead to describe themselves as part of the Global Justice Movement, the Movement of Movements, the Anti-Plutocracy Movement or a number of other terms or labels and. The term "alter-globalization" has also been used by the same people.
Hopes and aspirations
Many of these people aspire for the trade and improvements that smaller businesses can accomplish, and also in helping individuals that strive to improve their standard of living whereas larger companies are more focused on strictly profits.
The key question
The key question would be, the people that make a stand against the large corporations are willing to speak out against these corporations and conglomerates. To what extent are they willing to go, are they people voicing their opinion or are they people will be deemed as extremists? Is it truly fair to label both types of people under the same definition?
