Awayday
From ArticleWorld
Awayday is what a department or team responsible for a project schedules when it wants to work uninterrupted by the demands of a normal day at the office. They take their tasks for the day to another location, giving rise to a new business interpretation of the phrase away day, or awayday.
The phrase, which has transmuted into a single word, was originally used to describe the cheaper one-day return ticket on the British railway.
