Batman Begins

A boy falls in a well, he becomes frightened of bats and is confronted by this father who inspires to overcome fear. When his father and mother are killed, and after a series of challenges when confronting the art of combat in the Far East, he becomes committed to opposing crime in Gotham city.

Plot

A boy, Bruce Wayne(Christian Bale) witnesses the murder of his parents by a mugger, he becomes determined to fight crime and all forms of injustice.

Instead of revenge, Bruce, as a young man, travels to the Far East to learn the art of battle...the martial arts to develop the skills he requires to become a champion of the people. He meets Ducard(Liam Neeson)who teaches him the fine points, the mental discipline of a true master. But Ducard has another agenda.

When he return home, Gotham City is riddled with crime, corruption and ineffective police protection. The CEO of his family’s company is only interested in profit and has no concern for the public good. His childhood friend(Rachel Dawes)is the Assistant District Attorney, but she is powerless because the level of corruption has infested government so deeply.

Bruce has had enough. The alter-ego of Batman rises within him. He assumes the persona with the help of his butler, Alfred(Michael Caine)and the security official in his company(Morgan Freeman). Together, they form a team that confronts the enemies of justice directly.

Resolution

Batman thwarts a variety of scenarios and uses his cunning, athletic prowess and high-tech weaponry to outwit crime, corruption in Gotham City. He cleans up the law enforcement effort with the help of the DA, his team, and blocks a near-terrorist threat by his former mentor, Ducard.
