Applied psychology refers to the application of psychological principles to problems in other areas such as business management, ergonomics, nutrition and clinical medicine. It includes the use of industrial and organizational psychology which focuses on areas such as the psychology of the workforce; forensic psychology which is used in the resolution of psycho-legal issues; human factors which is aimed towards the better design of objects such as tools as well as community and educational psychology.
