The category of domotics implies the usage of applied robotics on the integrated home design. The word itself is a term derived from “domus” (which means house in Latin) and robotics. Typically it is incorporated in domestic appliances by usage of remote control and automation. The aim is to integrate all these facilities into a single unified system. This type of technology cannot be imagined without the use of computers which are usually incorporated in inaccessible locations such as the walls.
