Homeopathy is an alternative medicine which looks at the symptoms of a disease as well as the personality of the patient. It is a practice which emphasizes strengthening the body’s immune system and making it work on the problem rather than by introducing external medicines with possible side effects. In order to achieve this, minute diluted doses of the causal agent of the disease in question are administered as homeopathy maintains that ‘like cures like’.
