World Music is typically a fusion of two or more genres of music. There is typically one that is a regional one that is directly related to the band’s origin. Many of the genres that are fused are not closely related to one another and this makes a very different and unique style of music. This also makes the genre of world music as one of the most diverse of all the genres out in the world today. It can have bands that are not related in style except for this one criterion in the same genre.
