Xoomii is a style of music is popular in areas of central Asia and is related to much of the traditional regional music of those areas. It is closely related to throat singing and is also related to rock in the style. It is a style that has been around for the past decade or so and is still not very well known. Whether it will become a hit or not as a genre is still too early to determine.
