In Western Astrology the Fire sign is said to consist of the trinity of the Aries, Leo & Sagittarius constellations. It symbolizes a positive outlook coupled with a dynamic nature.

Characteristics

According to astrological beliefs, people under the Fire sign possess certain distinguishing characteristics.

Positive – A high level of energy and a quick mind are the chief characteristics are of those born under the fire sign. They mostly turn out to be leaders and pioneers in their respective fields. The element of fire symbolizes vigor and life – giving energies. Most of them are extroverts and hence make friends easily. They believe in maintaining those friendships and will have no qualms about going that extra mile to help those in trouble. They need to be pampered with love to flourish.

Negative – At their worst, fire signs can be boastful and highly impatient. They are also notorious for being irresesponsible and overly assertive. They do not like to be concerned with trivial details which ultimately may prove to be their undoing. They are outspoken to the point of being blunt thus may hurt the sentiments of sensitive individuals. Emotions run high accompanied by a quick and short temper. They are quite assertive and hence to not like others to be in control.
