This category has six subcategories that be chosen to further narrow the search of music work by continent. There entries are a list of the major performers and their respective continents of origin. Each continent has a variety of differing genres and styles of music. The same genre on two continents will greatly vary as the culture on the different locations will be evident. Even music that is deemed as world music will differ from one continent to another.
