Category:Philosophy of mind

From ArticleWorld

Philosophy of mind is the philosophical study of mental events, mind, mental properties, mental functions and consciousness. The relations they have with the body are also analyzed, creating a mind-body pattern. Two Philosophical schools try to resolve the problem: dualism (represented by Plato and Aristotle) and samkhya (represented by René Descartes). Some modern philosophers think that there are no connections between the mind and the body.
