Buddhists are people which religion is Buddhism, without differentiation between people and monks. Nowadays Buddhists number over 350 million people and can be found all over the world, with increase density in all the nations of South East Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Japan, Korea and China (it is believed to be the only country where all sects of Buddhism have large numbers of followers). Smaller communities can also be found in North America and in several countries of the European Union.
