The Indian film industry produces more than a thousand movies a year and its hub is in Mumbai, also called as Bollywood. The cinema of India is dominated by the films in Hindi language, which are mostly potboilers with intrigue, comedy, dances, songs and fights all packaged in a three hour duration with an interval. Many regional contributors of films are from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Orissa and West Bengal.
