Epidemiology is the study of diseases and the epidemics that can be caused by an outbreak of a disease. Many doctors in this field are highly proficient in diagnosing and preventing diseases from running rampant in a society or country for that matter. Many of them are specialize in one area of outbreak or strain, but this is not always the case. Many of them can treat conditions that are in their overall field of knowledge.
