The world has a large number of island nations and some of them are world powers. The United Kingdom is among these that has been deemed an island nation, as are Cuba and Japan. Many of the summer and beach resorts are located on island nations as they are surrounded with beach front and tourism is a good form of income. Many of these resorts work hand in hand with the government to assist both parties in making the resorts the best they can be.
