Travel books are books speaking about people, events, feelings and sights experienced by a travel writer.. Travel books are a part of travel literature. In this case they need to have a narrative form with coherent representations. Diaries and ship logs are not considered travel literature. Examples of travel books are: 30 Days in Sydney, Arculf, Crap Towns, Italian Hours, One World, Sahara, Desert Encounter, The Voyage of the Beagle, Notes From a Small Island, etc.
