Meanwhile, Hitch is in a romantic crisis of his own. He meets and is slowly falling for a gossip columnist, Sara(Eva Mendes). Hitch is working hard to avoid love, but is losing the battle. Sara is itching for a story about relationships(she has her own baggage)and Albert is an ideal scoop. Hitch finds himself making mistakes; his own rules aren’t working for him. Resolution

Albert is not the CPA nerd, anymore. He’s become smooth, calm, and confident. Ultimately both characters experience an evolution, an arc of personal growth and self acceptance. Hitch has become so such an unraveled love doctor, that he needs to ensure that he heals himself, too.
