Air Miles are a system, whereby spending money at pre-defined retailers and businesses, one can earn points towards the cost of special events, gift items and mainly, travel (hence the Air Miles name).

How to earn
In the United Kingdom for example, you can exchange your “Tesco Clubcard Vouchers” obtained by shopping there, for air miles. The same sort of system applies at Homebase and a multitude of other retailers.
