Anti-Folk Music is much like folk punk in that it is a means of speaking out against the culture and linage of a region. It can be in a direct and somber method or in an aggressive and harsh means. The basis is that it goes against the grain of the local social order and is of a fashion that speaks ill of the current standing of when the song was written.
