Emergency medicine can be a variety of things ranging from a recent injury or illness to immediate treatment of a medicine for a condition a person may have. A good example is medical treatment for asthma. Such treatments are required immediately the well-being of the person with a condition. In many cases such treatments can actually save lives. In some cases emergency medicine is used in to eliminate pain or discomfort.
