The eye is the organ of vision that detect light and variation of light. Organisms and animals have different types of eyes. Simple eyes cannot detect forms but only dark or bright areas. Complex eyes can offer the sense of vision. Vertebrates usually have two eyes, located on the same plane which results in a 3D image.
