Reggaeton is a Puerto Rican creation that is the fusion of Reggae and Latin dance hall music. It keeps a lot of the style that is in reggae and meshes into it a form and meter that is unique to the dance hall music of the Latin countries. It is a unique union that would be classified as both Folk and world music in the method of how it is created.
