Road movies is a cinematic genre in which action occurs during a road journey. Most of them have an episodic structure. Each episode portrays a challenge that needs to be completed. The entire plot is developed through such events. The most common ending for a road movie is: the characters triumph at the end of the journey and return home wiser than before.
