Trance music earned its name from the constant beat at 130 to 160 bpm that can put listeners into a trance like state when they listen to it. Trance is an offshoot genre from electronic dance music. It was developed in the 1990´s and still has momentum as a genre. It is a popular style of music at raves and also at dance clubs world wide.
Trance music is considered a more of a freestyle music and doesn’t always have to have vocals. It is experimental in nature.
