When you create your wreath, use the materials that appeal to you.

What you need
It is best to make a list of everything that you want to put on your wreath. Take a walk up and down the isles of your favorite craft store to get some ideas. There are however a few basics that you will need.
- Fabric in the pattern that you choose
- A wire hanger or a Styrofoam circle
- Ribbon
- Clear fishing line
- Fabric tacks for use with a Styrofoam circle.
- A large flat area in which you can assemble your wreath

How to assemble
- Cut fabric into strips of one inch by four inches. (This will be determined by the size of the hanger or Styrofoam circle)
- If you are using a wire hanger, form it into circle make it as round as possible. Use the bottom of a large pot to form a perfect circle. Leave the hook on the hanger.
- Starting at the hook, tie a piece of fabric onto the end. If you are using Styrofoam, tack the first piece on the circle.
- Carefully wind the fabric around the wreath until there is about one inch of fabric left.
- Tie the next piece of fabric to the end of the last and continue winding. Do this until the wreath is covered.
- With the next piece of fabric do the same as the first; only overlap it so the first the first layer shows.
- When you are satisfied with results of the fabric, take the fishing line and tie to the ends of the decorations spacing them according to the size of the wreath.
- Wrap the decorations around the wreath and finish with tying bows with the ribbons.
