Music journalists have classified Ladytron as electroclash and has is typical for that genre; they utilized guitars, a drummer, and a huge selection of electronics. Regardless of how they are classified ladytron has never used any form of sampling on their records. The only thing that they use both in recording and live is synthesizers.

Originally, Ladytron, sported military uniforms of black or a dark color, recently they have changed their style. The women now wear Goth style dresses and the men wear shirts and jeans.

Overview

Although they have been around for only six years they have released six albums. This is not including their singles, their albums show the evolution of the band has they have grown through the years.

Ladytron has gained recent notice in the United States, and are finding that they are gaining music time in various nightclubs throughout the United States.

Unlike many bands, ladytron still has all of its original members. This is something of a rarity in today's music industry. Lady torn is still going strong and is showing little sign of any chance of a breakup.

As the years are passing, ladytron is gaining a bigger fan base from the gothic culture. Little by little the band is gaining more and more popularity; they're still considered to be an underground group and are slowly changing that.

Even though their style is very similar to a lot of bands that are currently out in the industry, their style shows areas that are very unique and not like other bands. This difference is not only visible, that is also noticeable in their music. With the lack of sampling, and have the use of synthesizers, this has brought a form of a style that doesn't seem generic.
