Comedy refers to the use of humour in a theatrical circumstance, being opposed to the tragedy because of a happy ending. Several types of comedies developed and, although different people will not enjoy the same type of humour, its aim is to make an audience laugh. Because of this several methods and joke types are being used to achieve the goal. With a history that began with street performances it grew in a form of entertainment that is very popular among all types of audiences.
