The word Beverage refers to a liquid specially made for human consumption. They contain a very high percentage of water. Beverages may be sub-categorized into two, namely alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Non-alcoholic beverages may be either hot (tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc.) or cold (root beer, ginger ale, lemonade etc.). Alcoholic beverages contain varying percentage of alcohol, hence may be light (like beer) or strong (whiskey, rum etc.).
